Solved Change Member's Userlink Color (Not with Group)

I need through CSS to change selected member's Username Link color without using Group (For a reasons why, I do not want to have to create over 1,000,000 Groups. I am having where Members can use Points to change their Color...Of course through contact to me.)

I got someone who wanted me to change his color and I did have one for a Multi-rainbow color but not a single color and I would like the CSS for it. Here is what I at least made to try and get it to work in case you got something figure out.

Code:
a[href="/u40"] { color:#6FFF00;}

But nothing happens to his Username Link. Please someone tell me what am I missing in my code?

In a large number, instead just add them to the group.

After rolling over #40's Link and seeing that a Underline was the only thing changed I realized "Maybe it's because of the Group Color" That is why I wanted to know if there was a way to do that.

It works now.

Correct. I did input the Solve Button and mention it was solved. #40's Username is now that color and still in a Color group.
This can be closed now.
