In progress Help with the News Module

Post by DouglasBacon Wed 20 Mar 2013 - 4:21

I have enabled the sidebar on my forum and have added a News Module.
The News Module is current 'encroaching' onto the rest of the forum.

You can see this on the homepage:
http://wewanthomeworld3.forumotion.co.uk/

How do I go about fixing this so that the News Module is as wide as the other modules?

Regards,

I do not see any widgets that are out of place.

I am using Firefox. The only one that I see that is just a little stretched out is the calendar widget. The right side is touching the who's online section.

I can't edit the widget's width individually... Right?
The columns width with 180; which is the minimum.
Anything else I can try?

Have you tried using a different browser? I am using Firefox and do not see any widget that is covering the forums.

Reduce the widget size, from 180 to something lower:

Must be a chrome issue. The widget is fine on Opera.

Correct me if I'm wrong... But the minimum is 180. Isn't it?

Reduce it to 150 or so. 180 is the minimum width.

Doesn't work. After clicking save it reverts back to 180.

This doesn't seem to be a ForuMotion issue, since I tried it with three different browsers (Don't have Opera). The only one where this issue was "fixed" was in FireFox. Internet Explorer and Google Chrome have the text spread past the widget into the forums. I don't know if there's a HTML or JS code that could force the width to stay at 180.

The text isn't peering out. The actual widget is just too wide. It doesn't seem to recognize that the limiting size is 180. Any other suggestions?
