Solved Forum Width

Post by Apex on March 1st 2013, 7:51 pm

Just a quick question, this site is running phpbb2 and I'm working on designing a theme on it for a new site. So anyway, here is the link to it: http://illuminatedones.forumotion.com/

I have the width set to 100% but it doesn't seem to stretch across the entire screen, there is still some space on the sides. I tried going up to 105% etc, but that only stretches it to the right more and makes it so there's a scroll bar at the bottom. I want it to be in a fixed position stretched across the screen entirely. Any help?

Also, there is no CSS coding at the moment, it's all just basic colors and what not.

Could you possibly post a screenshot? On mine it has sort of a thick white border on the left and right side and doesn't look like it goes completely across.

Yes exactly, it isn't completely stretched across. I want it to look like this, for example: http://www.i-mockery.com/forum/index.php

See how it fits the entire screen? 100% should be that, not with space still on both sides.

Hi! Very Happy

Add to CSS Stylesheet:
Code:
body{
margin: 0 !important;
}

.bodyline{
padding: 0 !important;
}

Thanks dude it worked! Would you know how to remove the black border going around the entire thing now? Or at least decrease the size of it?

Add this to your css.
Code:

.forumline {
    border-width: 1px !important;
}
