Hi, the best way to describe the resynchronise function is that it 'refreshes' your forum. If there is a problem on your forum then resyncing your forum may solve it. You don't have to worry as it won't get rid of any posts made and you shouldn't lose any data.

the resynchronise function has nothing to do with your problem.
The "request limit exceeded" message is because the load function is used too many times. You don't have the website field available in your profile so I cannot see your forum, but usually this message is received when you add some effects on your forum, like the one showing the avatars next to the last posts in the index. If that's the case, then you should remove the code. It's the only way to get rid of the error message.
