Solved Font in my board gets bigger on his own

Post by Fede1583 on March 22nd 2013, 1:08 pm

Good morning everyone.
This morning I noticed a weird problem with the forum I administrate: when I load any page of the forum, at first the font small and tidy (the way it was when I picked up Prosilver as my theme); after a second though, it becomes bigger, much bigger than it should be (and this interferes with the page layout).

At first I thought it was my browser's fault, so I checked my options and everything is in order. I then tried other browsers and they all seem to show the same double "behaviour".

Categories and forums also show the same issue.

I didn't edit the original theme and I haven't tried to touch anything yet because I have some widgets on my home page and I don't want to cause more problems.

I would like to restore the original font size. Could you please help me? Thank you for reading.

Add this to your css.
Code:

a.forumtitle {
    font-size: 14px !important;
}

Any other font-size, you want to reduce?

I'm trying to restore all the fonts to their original sizes, if possible....
I would love to have all the fonts the same size they are on this board.

Can I achieve that with the code you suggested?

Nopes, that code just change it for the forum titles. You have added the wibiya toolbar, after that did the font change?

Uhmmm...I can't remember if the font changed when I installed the toolbar, as it was months ago. The problem with the font is not recent though...
I'm gonna uninstall the toolbar and see if anything changes.

Just in case it's not the toolbar, can you tell me where can I find all the parameters I should edit to "copy" the font-style of this board?

I finally discovered what's causing the problem: it's the modules.
As soon as I disabled them, the forum went back to normal.

Thank you so much for your help Sanket, you're very nice and your suggestion about the toolbar gave me the right hint. Smile
What a pity, I liked the modules... Sad

Shall I mark the topic as solved?

Modules? You mean the forum widgets?
I think it was the facebook widget then, delete only that single one & it should be fine I guess.

Yes, the forum widgets.

I had a twitter widget and a widget from the site Locatetv.com. I'll un-install first one and then the other and see which one is to blame.

It was the Locatetv widget. Mad

Code:
font-size:15px

duh....

I'll see if I can edit the font-size without causing more trouble or I'll simply uninstall it. Problem solved, finally! thumright
