Solved Remove navigation bar

Post by OnTheBusesCrazy on March 25th 2013, 6:51 pm

Basically, I know this may sound silly as it is probably very easy to do.

I have enabled the new toolbar as seen at: http://help.forumotion.com/t120827-new-updates-upgrade-of-the-toolbar-and-improvement-of-the-mobile-version Now, I would now like to remove the usual navigation bar that has been with the forum since the start because it is rather ugly and outdated compared to the new toolbar which basically does what the old navigation bar does, but better.

See what I mean?:

How can this be removed?

Thanks for anyone who can give me help on this.

I am not sure how you are planning to add the custom navigation bar images to the toolbar.

Either ways, Add this to your css.
Code:
.mainmenu {
    display: none !important;
}

Sorry, I did not explain fully. I need to remove unwanted buttons such as log-in/log-out, etc. but not remove all the buttons.

To remove, should be added with the CSS (ACP >> Display >> Colors >> CSS)
Code:
a.mainmenu[href="/THE BUTTON YOU WANT TO REMOVE"] {
display: none;
}

/faq
/search
/memberlist
etc.
