Monitoring posts
Is there any way I can monitor posts before they are posted? I would like to approvr new members before they can join my forum?
Is there a way to do that? When someone wants to join, I would get an email asking if I approve or not approve their joining the forum.

Re: Monitoring posts
You can not monitor posts before they are posted.
Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Users > Users Options
New accounts activation: Admin

Thank you.
This would not monitor posts, but would monitor the people trying to register. No one would be able to register unless I appove them. Correct?

Re: Monitoring posts
Nope. It's correct. After you set it to Admin, go to the:
Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Users > Inactive Users
Then you can now activate the people who registered in your forum which requires your (as admin) activation.

I am confused.
I am not talking about approving new members. I am talking about monitoring/moderating/approving new 'posts' before they are posted (new posts by any member).

I'm preety sure you can't but - You can stop new users from posting external links.

That's what we answer.
And for monitoring post, as stated by SLGray, you can't moniter them .
Re: Monitoring posts
Hello,
The best solution for this to hire more moderators since it's not possible yet, you can suggest it but check first if it's been suggested using the search function
