Solved phpBB2 - Border image frame/post image frame

Post by Raziel21 on April 6th 2013, 9:27 am

I'd like to use an image based border that will scale automatically with avatar size/post size.

Code:
border-style: solid;
border-width: 63px 60px 64px;
-moz-border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 stretch;
-webkit-border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 stretch;
-o-border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 stretch;
border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 fill stretch;

I tried this but I didn't get any results.

Bump

-

Anyone know how to do this?

Basically, it's just changing the border of the forum table and post content...
Css/Js/Templates, anything will help.

Go to ACP > Display > Template > General > viewtopic_body:

Find this part:
Code:
{postrow.displayed.POSTER_AVATAR}

Now put a div with class outside it, so it should be something like this: (Change the class to what you desire)
Code:
<div class="123">{postrow.displayed.POSTER_AVATAR}</div>

Now in CSS, use the name of the class on it. It should be something like this: (Just change the 123 on the name of the class you've put)
Code:
.123 {
border-style: solid;
border-width: 63px 60px 64px;
-moz-border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 stretch;
-webkit-border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 stretch;
-o-border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 stretch;
border-image: url(http://www.eyescreamjewelry.com/images/Gothic_Jewelry_Small_Victorian_Gothic_Frame.png) 63 60 64 fill stretch;
}

You have forgotten to close the div, mate. Wink
Code:
<div class="123">{postrow.displayed.POSTER_AVATAR}</div>

Thank you for the time.

It did the trick for the Avatar only, however image's not aligned to the avatars.

If only the post body could be done in the same manner. :] Could it? (i'll change pictures later anyway)

Edit : Nvm, I'll just mess with template Hello
