OMG I just hit no!
Wanna know why?
What percentage of traffic do you think would through mobiles if this were to be appraised?
Have you tried doing a Google search on your mobile phone latley?
Its hard now as it is
It would be impossible to work a forumotion forum, from a mobile phone.
Voted no.

Re: improtant suggestion!!!can forumotion servers be open on "MOBILE"?
Actually this suggestion is no needed.
Forumotion forums are fully accessible on mobile phones. I have tried it with mobile browsers like Google Android, Symbian, Opera Mobile, Opera Mini and iphone's Safari. All works perfectly fine.
@darren actually I surf my forum with my phone while have breakfast everyday and find it pretty easy. Try Opera Mini for surfing, it's by far the best mobile browser I can find.

The down side though... is that Opera mini doesn't load javascript and GIF images. Opera mini is awesome, if it's difficult to use at first, you'll need a while to get used to the interface etc. It's also by far the only mobile browser which loads pages that fast.
Re: improtant suggestion!!!can forumotion servers be open on "MOBILE"?
I also use the mini opera ... whenever I can't reach my laptop.
all is fine.
maybe a mobile browser upgrade would prove useful...
btw doc did you hear about firefox creating a mobile version of thier browser.
hot stuff.
you can also try adding another low-fi css.
give it a media tag <media="mobile"> ... that way the css will start only when used by a mobile phone.
you'd have to create a low fi version of your forum

No. But why would you want a m.forumotion.com address? It works just the same, if you want some sort of a lo-fi version, like Jalokim said, use the media tag.
Re: improtant suggestion!!!can forumotion servers be open on "MOBILE"?
I also use operamini on my nokia 3110c.. The only problem that i have encountered is the chatbox.. It didnt function properly.. Even though i was logged in, it didnt show what i posted..
Re: improtant suggestion!!!can forumotion servers be open on "MOBILE"?
Well , mobile phone browsers are not fully developed and most lack flash versions. Some web objects will not appear.
the chatbox is one of these web objects that phones cannot use
and this applies to WAP versions to (m.forumotion.com)
