Solved changing forum colors via CSS

Post by hey mickey. on April 13th 2013, 9:40 pm

hi, so i'm trying to change all forum colors via CSS codes and i really have no idea how to change all this: the first one is the body line background, the second one are the table row backgrounds and the third one are the lines around categories and forums.
so yeah.. i'd really appreciate it if someone would tell me what to put in the CSS to change the colors (:
forum version is phpbb2

Solved Re: changing forum colors via CSS

Hello,

For the number 1, I don't think you can change the color of that area individually, since it's part of the body, this would be the code:
Code:

.bodyline{
    background-color: COLORHERE !important;
}
Beware, that will change the color of the body part of the forum.

For number 2, try this code:
1st column:
Code:
td.row1 {
  background-color: COLORHERE !important;
}

2nd column:
Code:
td.row3 {
  background-color: COLORHERE !important;
}

For number 3, try this code:
Code:
.forumline {
  border: COLORHERE !important;
}
That will change the color of the borders on your forum.

Can you provide the URL to this? The forum URL shows only one forum, it doesn't have much of those lines anywhere.

Thats really a background color. Add this to your css. It changes that color.

Code:
p, td, th {
    background-color: #ff0000 !important;
}

Try to add this to your CSS:
Code:
td.row3Right, td.spaceRow {
border: black;
}

Change the black to your desired color Smile
