Post by Rhino.Freak on April 15th 2013, 5:47 pm

Hey all, I wanna ask how do this forum has a blinking message symbol and orange link color of "you have 1 new message".. ?
Also how do "solved" "complete" and "on going" etc topic icons show after the topic name?
Also how to "on going" appears automatically?

On your forum you have images as the navigation menu, so its not possible.

For the topic Icons
Display>Pics management
Advanced mode
Topic Icons tab.

This thread is for invision. Might help you.

About the appearance it depends on the forum version.

Also, we add them by editing the first post. The In Progress icon doesn't get automatically added.

It won't be automatic, you will have to choose it. OR you should ask your members to choose it.

For the Topic icons' position won't be able to change since the templates of Invision can not be modified.

You can actually have the image itself that has the blink effect, you can request such on the graphics section.

If by CSS, this could the code:
Code:
text-decoration: blink !important;

But I have not seen the class for that link yet on Invision. :/

The author in that thread, did not say anything about this code.
