In progress Skin/theme auto changing itself >.< !

Post by RsS.YuGi on April 24th 2013, 2:15 am

I might be a noob at this , but what's happening is just making me so mad Evil or Very Mad

I found a nice theme , fixed it on another forum to test it , then I exported it and imported to the original forum
all worked fine but each time I go edit anything in the new forum (eg. pics , colors , css ) it auto change back to the old theme ~

anyone help !

Edit :
another thing : when re importing the theme , some stuff do not change , and it keeps thing from the old theme (eg. toolbar image)

Hello,

Try this first, please clear your cache, might be a browser problem:
http://help.forumotion.com/t22597-how-to-clear-the-cache-in-firefox-internet-explore-chrome

Try to resync your forum too:

Also, when installing skin, I suggest you to directly install it from hitskin.com

If it still does not work, please provide your forum url. Thanks Smile

hi , thanks for posting fast Very Happy

well , I tried both things , but still (sometimes) when I change a simple thing in the css other things just get messed up ~

just now I restored the old them , and I noticed the toolbar still pic needs editing , so I edited it and added ... and for some awkward reason the background of the forum changed o.o ...

at this moment things are working fine , but I fear in future if I will do any change this will happen again .

btw , this is the link : percyduelacademy.forumotion.com

sorry about the colors , didn't know that.

and about what you said , I'm not sure I even know what that does .. or how to do it .. oh gosh I'm sorry I'm not good at forumotion stuff ;~;

I would like to say that I added a new theme and I can edit things without any bugs happening .
but just in case , to keep this topic opened for a couple of days in case a bug occurred please ~
