Gallery is blurry
I've put my widget gallery in my portal.
I extended it with the following code:
But the image is really blurry and extended, how to change it to be normal?
THanks
I extended it with the following code:
#SlideShowPic {
height: 300px;
width: 500px;
}
But the image is really blurry and extended, how to change it to be normal?
THanks

If I remove that, the gallery will be default size...Silver Cloak wrote: Remove this:

Re: Gallery is blurry
When you extend any pictures at all, it is natural for them to become blurry or pixelated. So I'm not really sure what to do about this problem, do you know any other solutions?
Re: Gallery is blurry
Better if you remove, but if you don't want. Let's give this a try (I don't know how to use Gallery, LOL).
Go to ACP > Modules > Gallery > Display:
Edit this:
Then apply the CSS you've use.
Go to ACP > Modules > Gallery > Display:
Edit this:
Use smaller pictures to view pictures (no : real size pictures) : Set to No
Then apply the CSS you've use.
Re: Gallery is blurry
Nope didn't work. I want it extended, so I can't just delete that code...

Re: Gallery is blurry
Yep. The reason it became pixelated is maybe because of the size of the picture in the gallery.
Would you mind if you post a screenshot of the 'Upload' and 'Display' section in the Gallery Settings (ACP > Modules > Gallery)

Re: Gallery is blurry
Well. As you can see.
The images in the Portal is very small.
This is a sample image i got from the portal:
https://2img.net/u/1617/32/79/32/album/th/2013-032.png
That's the reason it become too blurry when you resize it.
And i'm finding solutions to help you. So please wait.
I'll give it more a try.

Re: Gallery is blurry
The images in the portal are not small... They are like I posted in the first post.

Re: Gallery is blurry
What do you mean?
I press right click on the image on the portal, then click the copy image url.
Then saw that it was too small.

Re: Gallery is blurry

Re: Gallery is blurry
I wasn't looking at the problem because E-Mark was already trying to help you. When someone breaks a rule, it just puts me off.
Either ways, i will try to help you.
What i think the problem is: The gallery widget is specified for a specific size. By, just adding that css code what you are doing is asking the picture to be resized to a bigger size. Hence, it gets blurred as the picture is resized from smaller to a higher size.

Re: Gallery is blurry
Hello!
I really can't find a solution here. As Sanket stated, it might be the Gallery widget that uses specific size (small size). I don't know if somebody can help you, but i really can't find something to help you regarding to your problem .

Re: Gallery is blurry
I am sure it's possible to extend the gallery without making it blurry.
I've seen in some forums.
For example this one http://www.chickensmoothie.com/ the gallery is not default size and it's not blurry.
Besides has the "previous, next" feature that I would like to know as well how to do it. Thanks ^^

Re: Gallery is blurry
In this forum, the founder doesn't use the Gallery widget.
It simply uses a jquery image slider .

How can I do it then?E-Mark wrote:In this forum, the founder doesn't use the Gallery widget.

Re: Gallery is blurry
The easiest way to do this would be to make a Gif image which changes the image at a constant interval.
See if that helps

Re: Gallery is blurry
What?... then how is it suppose to recognize the pictures when clicking them? I am sure there is some code that raizes the gallery thumbnail without blurrying it... I'd appreciate to get itSanket wrote:The easiest way to do this would be to make a Gif image which changes the image at a constant interval.

Re: Gallery is blurry
Thats the default gallery widget, you cannot modify it. If change needs to be done, you will need to add a person widget & then it will be manual updation of the images.

Re: Gallery is blurry
Thats what I am mentioning, its not a default gallery widget as forumotion since its not a forumotion Forum.
Its a slider possibly, which would require manual updation of images everytime.
