disallow/disable option hide status

hey there

is it possible for admins ,somewhere in the adminpanel...... to disallow members to be able to use that option?
the option of hide my online status

meaning, only staff can do it or something///admins mods

i hope it is possible!
because i kinda dislike the fact they can.... i mean, i understand they should have the right to choose what they want
but i dislike the option itself somehow
it makes the online list look smaller than it actually is, you knwo what i mean? because some people dont show up because they are hidden

If some people are hidden, you can see them. But, others cannot see them. Will that do?

Yes, it is not.

Well you can always set it in a members profile through the ACP to not allow.
But they would always be able to change it back if they wanted to.

Since you are using phpbb2. You can always remove the whole option out of your template and would not even show anymore as a option for members to set.
However,if you did decide to remove it from the template/off the forum all together then this means no one including admin or mods would be able to be hidden.
