Solved How do I change buttons on my navigation bar without overlapping the default?

Post by Fae on May 7th 2013, 6:38 pm

I have an already photoshopped buttons for my navigation bar buttons that I would like to use in replacement of the default. However, when I go to Pics Management and then Advanced Mode and change each individual botton, my new image just overlaps the default.

This is the link to the site:
http://honorguard.guildmmorpg.com/forum

Look at the "Forum" button to see what I mean. How can I get rid of what is underneath and use my new button?

Also, I don't know why the image on top looks like it's our of proper proportion?
Thanks in advance.

Display>Colors
Css Stylesheet tab
Find this
Code:
#i_icon_mini_index {
    background: url("http://i32.servimg.com/u/f32/15/52/81/80/412.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
    height: 22px;
    width: 80px;
    display: none ;
}
#i_icon_mini_index:hover {
    background: url("http://i32.servimg.com/u/f32/15/52/81/80/412.png") no-repeat scroll 0 -22px transparent;
}
Remove those codes.

That worked! However, now the buttons look way too close together. Can the spacing between the buttons be changed so that they don't appear to be a long sentence next to each other?

Ideally, I would like to see the buttons evenly spaced out across the navigation bar.

Add this to your css & check.
Code:
 a.mainmenu {
    margin-left: 16px !important;
}
