Change Ads that Appear
I have been using a forum for a high school class that I teach. It has come to my attention that some of the ads that are being displayed at the top of the page are not appropriate for high school students. Is there a way to set why kind of ads will appear on my forum?
Thanks - Chris

Re: Change Ads that Appear
The ads that appear are based of each persons search history and the cookies on their computer, so only you see those ads because their based off YOUR search history.
Re: Change Ads that Appear
I understand that they are being pulled from the search history, cookies, ect, however that doesn't answer the question of if there is a way to filter the ads so they don't show up at school. A student using a school computer that has not search history on it, due to "Deep Freeze" shows an ad of "Undress Me" Is there a way to filter that out?

Oh that ad was brought up here before . (https://help.forumotion.com/t123866-undress-me) its nothing bad, no more then pg13 content you can remove ads with credits and you can buy them from the ACP, There Add-ons for browsers that can block all ads as well but if a site has a dection script installed it will require you turn of that add on to be able to view the site.

You can not change the ads. You can only remove them.

I dislike ads. Maybe you and your students could use ADblock It makes it safer for your forum and every website they search! Is this a good solution?

As i mentioned in my other post Yes these Add ons work But if a site has a Script installed on to detect if your using ad block you will be asked to turn it off in order to view the site!!! SO that is the down side. to that add on
