Solved Personal domain troubles

Post by Nostra Tue 4 Jun 2013 - 3:19

Hi folks!

I have a domain and now my forum linked to it. But I always have to add 'www' to my address otherwise I'll get a DNS error.

The question is:
How can I make a redirect from domain.net to www.domain.net
or
How do I link my forum to domain.net, not to www.domain.net?

I'm watchin u,
Nostra

I don't remember this, but you have to add the url everyday?
The domain is registered elsewhere, correct?

*facepalm*

Domain is registered.
I can access my forum with such url: www.forum.com
But I need my forum to be accessible via forum.com too. (without 'www.')

No, i was asking whether the domain was brought from forumotion or outside forumotion.

Take the example of my forum webartzforum.com
I can access it directly, without the www..
This was brought from Forumotion.

What is the forum link?
I don't think it is too needed ◕‿‿◕ You know, many people are willing to steal a couple of good scripts...

Don't be afraid, I don't use free "domains".
i was asking whether the domain was brought from forumotion or outside forumotion.
I'm using reg.ru company.

What I've added:
Code:
* - CNAME - my.domain.com
@ - CNAME - my.domain.com
www - CNAME - forumotion.domain.com

Solved.
