In progress Name of the Section

Post by SubPyroFlow June 7th 2013, 4:58 pm

Hello.

I'm having troubles changing the name of a Section.
I have set the name to be something, but it remains on default - it remains called "Forum".

Now, I have changed the names of Sections on other forums already, that are exactly the same, and it worked there.
Any ideas on why this is not working now on the newly-created forums and how I could make it work?

Note that I've tried to change this on 5 different computers now with no success.

Thank-you very much in front.

The Forum's Link: http://animeexcite.forumotion.com/

I would also like to add that when going to General > Categories and Forums, the Category is displaying how I added it.

Everything is displaying correctly in the Administration Panel, just the overall display on the site is wrong.

None help.
You don't see the point.

I already have experience with these Forums (php 3) and it is working perfectly on the same way on one other Forums.
I'm quite a pro at forums and know a lot about them, meaning that I, of course, know the differences between the forums and the catagories and when to create them.

Over at Anime Excite, this seems to be a bug.

A fix would be wanted.

Name of the Section Untitl10, you chnage it from AP, but as many times and as many differente names you put, it remains "forum" ?

Display>Structure & hierarchy
Split categories on Index: Medium
save.

See if that helps?

Exactly.
I keep on changing it but it remains "Forum".

Edit: It is fixed now, see my response to Sanket below.

Yeah, it is displaying correctly now.
If I may ask, is it meant to be that way or is this some sort of a bug?

Not a bug, it's just on the category structure settings. Smile
