Member group problems
Hello. I just created a forumotion rpg forum. I am most familiar with the proboards version so it is a change. I was having trouble with the member groups and giving people different powers. I also was having trouble with member group colors. When I created a new group and gave it a color, my admin color changed to the color of the new group. Could I please get some help?

Re: Member group problems
Yes I am here and I would like to politely ask that you show a little bit of patience, you can't always expect a quick reply.
To answer your first question to give people permission to moderate said section you need to create a group and add the respected people to the group. Then go to ACP --> General --> Categories and Forums --> Click this button next to the forum you want them to moderate and then tick the moderation box --> Save
You can also give people individual moderation powers by going into the ACP --> Users and Groups --> Search Users --> Click on the users username and click the permissions tab. If the above option I give doesn't work then set them individually by doing it here.
To make sure you don't have the colour problem go to select the group while in the ACP and select the group you want the colour for and set that as group number 1 under the option "group order"
You can read more about groups here:

It might already be enabled check ACP --> General --> Security --> Disallow Moderators To Ban, see if that is checked yes, if it is turn to "No"
Then tell your mods to go onto the person profile who they want to ban and tell them to go down to "Administrate Profile" there will be a link, tell them to click it and they see ban options.
