I agree . . . Or at the very least, . . .Grant Forum Owners/Administrators the choice to switch it off.

When quoting or multi quoting , or heck , even when posting a message, swapping from WYSIWYG to "normal" (pre changes) mode makes my forum freeze or crash.

phpBB3 forum ~ yamaha-thundercats dot org ~ if you wish to look.

WHY 'O' WHY do Forumotion INSIST, time after time, on releasing updates that are in BETA format and do not work correctly or are in a poorly thought out format, with no warning to site/forum owners/admins !?? . . . .

Sort the up date out, get it working properly (with an administrators option to turn it off in the ACP), announce a future release day/date, release it . . . and then WATCH & LISTEN to your customers/clients reactions and feedback. Then ACT on that feed back . . . be that feedback negative or positive.

I agree, very well put.

My forum is not functioning as my members are unable to process or cope with this on a forum that has worked perfectly for them for 4 years.  They are very upset.

If it isn't broken why try to fix it?

When the topic starter solve the issue by himself and doesn't share how he/she solve it, the topic will be considered as garbage by the staff.
