PM text colour! How to change it?

The text color for my forum is white, which I'm very happy with and don't wish to change. However, there's an issue when sending PMs. Seeing as the text color is white and the background for sending the pms is white, you can't see the message you're typing UNLESS you highlight it. Here's an example:

But.. What is weird is that when I reply to a message in 'quick reply' the text is black, which I'm happy with.

So, what I was wondering.. Was if there is a way I can change the PM text colour but the PM text color alone? I've been googling it and reading through messages here, but, it didn't seem too helpful.
