Banned Rank?

In progress Banned Rank?

Post by Toby12600 Tue 18 Jun - 20:06

So, I've learned how to put ranks on my forum. But, how do I make it so when I ban a user, it doesn't hide all their post? Also, when I ban someone, can I have them a rank that says banned? I already have the badge. So, what I need to know is how to make a banned users post still appear, and how to have the banned user badge.

Thank you!

You will have to manually add the ban rank.

For the other thing (It was a recently update.):
Administration Panel > General > Messages & Emails > Configuration
Topics Section
Hide messages from banned members: No

Alright, thanks. I got the ban post thing to work, and I've created the banned rank. How do I set it for when I ban a user, I don't have to add them to a certain group for them to have the badge?

Adding a member to a group will not add a rank unless you have both set up by the number of posts you have.

To give the ban rank to a member, you will have to go to the member's profile in the administration panel and add the ban rank.
