Return to old editor?
Hi, I don't know if it's right place, but I have a question about the new editor. Is there any chance to back to the old one? I must say I don't like it, and users at my forum complain about it either.

Hi,
Currently their is no way to return to the old editor. However you can modify it by removing the WYSIWYG mode by following this tutorial here:

Hmmm,
That is strange its showing me the site without any problems. I don't know why its showing me the site and not you. I mean I don't have any special permissions on that site, in fact I'm not even logged in when visiting that site and it displays fine.
The tutorial displays fine for me when I click that link. Its very strange.

Re: Return to old editor?
Please "fix" the editor back to the old one. It worked fine, I and my players liked it, it caused no problems for any of us. Please, "fix" it back.

Re: Return to old editor?
No you can't return to the old editor as there is no option to put it back. At first I did not like the new editor but I am getting used to it now.

Re: Return to old editor?
I know you can't switch back. I was making a statement that I really dislike the new editor as it destroyed lots of the unique features of my forums and I would like them to add an option to switch back even though that is probably not possible. I would at least like to be able to use older codes that worked with the old editor. That would make me happy.
Re: Return to old editor?
The new Editor is here to stay Now they have not done all the updates to the bugs for nothing, I really can't see what the problem is i kind of like the new one now some of the bugs are fixed. also there is lots of new things we can do with this editor once all the rest of the bugs have been fixed.
And also i don't really a lot of change from the old one to the new one really. You bloody lot just don't like change lol

Re: Return to old editor?
The only issue I had with the new editor was that I was not sure how to use it. Though when I read a few tutorials on how to, I understood, and have now gotten used to it.
There are actually a lot of advantages to the new editor. You can now post links in Google Chrome, where as in old editor, they did not display properly.
Also it is easier to insert quotes, and you have a huge choice of colors in the color picker. You never got that with the old editor. So there are a lot more features in the new editor.

Re: Return to old editor?
Hello, as we already mentioned, we won't have the old editor back, you can continue the discussion about this on the Forum discussion area(opinions about the new updates thread).
So I don't see any reason for this thread to remain open(and since this is already an old topic).
