It seems that its not getting logged when moderators edit a message its kinda annoying to track.

No I mean that if a moderator like here or admin you can edit my message for example but on my forum if i go to security and then to the log of the moderators it doesn't show post edits.

I don't think it does show edits. I've checked my forum. It only shows, locked messages, deleted messages, merges, splits etc. I don't think it shows edits.

100% Sure on what?

I've just edited one of my members test postings. I filled out the edit box below the post to check if that would maybe log it. I went and checked the security logs and its now showing so I don't think it does. I mean unless we are both experiencing this issue but in all my time with using FM forums I haven't experienced a logging of edited posts.

So as i told no logging of the posts edits... are you with me?

Sorry, I was confused about the "I'm 100% sure" It sounded like you knew that it was logged. I personally don't think it is as its not appearing for me under my moderation logs in the ACP.

If you'd like then you could possibly open a suggestion here.

It won't actually show, the logs for that will be shown under the post of the user.

I forgot it will show under the post. However that is only after a specific time by default. It won't show all the time.

For example I could post this and then edit it soon after and it won't show. However if I did fill out the "Editing Reason" then it will show, no matter how much time has passed.

It will not show if there were no new posts after your post.
It will only show if there's a post after the post being edited or if there's a reason placed.

Okay, thanks nice to know this. still it would be nice to see it in the log

Because i have clan now imagine a player reports an admin for doing something if there no new posts on it he can edit it without showing it so he edits it then he reply's on it.
I call that a cloacked edit either it should show always or it should be logged. Its also logged in the vanilla phpbb3 board under moderator log so why not here?
