Solved Emoticon Area Covered by New Message Body

Post by Gothboy77 on July 1st 2013, 10:25 pm

I understand that recently Forumotion updated the look of their message body. This slightly annoys me for 2 reasons

1. The message body is white, my forum is black. How can I get the old message body back, or make the current one black instead of white?

2. (the most problematic) The new message body covers and "moves" my emoticon box. Picture below

I would very like to have the old message body back, but since I know that's a slim chance in hell, is there at least a way to make my emoticon box go back to how it was? And if possible I would like to change the message body background to black instead of white. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks Smile

So is there anyway to move my smiley box back to the left? It just looks like shit the way it is now, and the whole code change thing for the templates seem really confusing for fixing a simple problem like this. Is there anyone who can help me? Please!

Sorry for the double post, just frustrated and in a pickle. I looked through the thread you linked me, however it does not address my issue. I tried the smiley CSS fix, nothin. Am I supposed to have a smiley button like this editor?

Gosh I feel so dumb ): I really don't have a clue on how to fix this

What forum version are you using - phpBB 2, phpBB 3, punBB, or Invision?

Topic solved!!
It appears that this problem was caused because chrome was zoomed in by 10%. When I ctrl+scroll-down it fixed itself. How simple. I feel dumb but I'm glad I figured it out Razz
