Right now, if you put a URL in brackets (like www.example.com), the text up to the first space is included in the URL. In that example, the forum's code has included the ), as part of the URL if you try clicking it. Ideally, it would trim off any punctuation before a space, so in that both ) and , would be excluded and it wouldn't result in a broken URL. This should include trailing periods too, in case if someone did www.example.com/thing.

Vote yes if you want this improvement! If you don't want this improved... ?

There is a simple solution to this - add spaces before and after the link.

From an aesthetic appeal I don't think it looks that good and most other forums don't have this, so it would it make it the norm I guess. I do think his would be waste of the devs time, I mean if they could introduce this easily then fair enough but if they can't then it isn't the biggest deal.
