Solved How do I change the color of the [code] BBCode output?

Post by Shen Rajinto on July 25th 2013, 5:22 pm

Hello, I need help to change the colors on the [code] BBCode output.

The current one looks like this:

What I'd like it to look like is:

The colors are #408080 for the header and #3D5999 for the body. If I can change the color of the <?ph image on the end of the line #c2c2c2 would be fine.

Sorry, I've been tinkering with this all day. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like if I copy this into the CSS it will give me my desired results:

Code:
.codebox dt {
  display: block;
  padding: 3px;
  background-image: url('http://i38.servimg.com/u/f38/14/76/83/18/coding10.png') !important;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-position: top right;
  text-transform: uppercase;
  font-weight: bold;
}
.codebox dt {
  background-color: #408080 !important;
}
.codebox dd {
  background-color: #3d5999 !important;
  border: 1px dotted #000;
}

All I did was replace the URL in the backgroud image and the hex colors in the dt and dd sections and add the !important tag to the changes.

Here go you go, add these codes below will give you the desired result.

Note: In the header code is the image <?ph you need to change that image url if you want something different. Heres the url to the image: http://illiweb.com/fa/invision/css_img_code.gif

Header:
Code:
.codebox dt {
background-color: #408080 !important;
background-image: url("http://illiweb.com/fa/invision/css_img_code.gif");
 }

Body:
Code:
.codebox dd {
background-color: #3D5999 !important;
}

Thank you!

If I'm changing the image as well does it need to have the !important tag as well?

You're welcome, no the image doesn't need an important tag. Smile

You need to find that url in your CSS stylesheet if you can, if its there then simply change that url. But if its not then add a new url to the code above.
