admin/mod password request option? 7b9Xq9s

Please explain to me the point of this option.? Even if i click yes to allow them i always can come back into the admin panel maybe 30mins later and it ticks itself back to no. I don't understand the point in this option if it doesn't last very long.

I do want to allow them to get their passwords from email but it decides to say no every time i go into the admin panel? >.>

Do you have any other Administrators on your forum? That could explain why it keeps being ticked to no. We've had this ticked to 'no' for quite some time on one of our forums and its never been changed to yes randomly.

Also from what you said:

Are you ticking yes? You have to set it to 'no' if you want your staff to be able to retrieve a new password via email. Ticking 'yes' will disallow them that option.

That might be the cause of why it keeps being ticked to yes then. You can check who logs into the panel under security if you wish to check however, I'd just recommend asking instead since its easier. If they aren't editing those options then It may be another issue.
