Yes, added widgets and everything. All that changed on my site is a gigantic gap at the bottom and text fron 3 widget titles between my forum and the chatbox. Non clickable text

I think you have not done something currently. As, its not appearing even on another skin.

I have the same problem at my theme, the portal can show the widgets, but not the forum. Could it be some kind of coding you have to set in?

I changed the theme and used the images from my old theme to make it liik mostly the same. Then I checked my forum and the widgets show. I still believe it was that my forum was a phpbb and the theme was a phpbb3

Do you have JavaScripts? If you do, turn them off and see if the widgets appear.

Well you can not import any skins for phpbb3 to another version.
like if you are using say punbb then you cant import a phpbb3 Hitskin without it switching to phpbb3. In-fact, it should come up with a message saying you are using whatever version and you are trying to import a skin from phpbb3 and if you wish to import it must change to phpbb3 in order to install the skin. if you select yes, it would import it and automatically change over to phpbb3 .

So i don't think the skin/theme or version has anything to do with the widget problem

As far as what someone said about the portal showing widgets but not the forum.
the portal is the portal. the forum is the forum. the portal will only show navigation bar leading to your forum/homepage. not the forums themself.

Other then that i am not seeing widgets in any links, for sankets link or your forum link.

In the mean time if  SLGray has not yet entered your forum.
try disabling the widgets, then nove them to the right click save, and try to re-enable it again and see if it works then.
If so simply more them back to the left and hit save again.

basically just want to disable and re-enable to see if that works then.
Oh and if that dose work be sure to message  SLGray back and reply here as well so we know Smile

After using the test account, I locate the issue. You had the correct codes in your CSS, but there was no !important in the codes. When I add them, the widgets appeared.

I do believe I had th same problem as IdaTR, using a hitskin for phpbb3 when I have punbb. There are punbb hitskins though and my site looks the same now that I changed the looks around.

How could I otherwise upgrade from punbb to phpbb3?

Go to www.hitskins.com and install a phpBB 3 theme. It will change your forum version.
