Should we have a thank you button to show hidden link
Thank you button to show hidden content
It would be nice to create a thank you button where members must click on the "thank you button" in order to access the hidden content in the post. Although there is already an available code where members must post in order to see the hidden content, it is not the same as where members can click on said button to access the hidden content.
I would like to see this available for the following reasons:
Also, by having a "thank you button" to click on so that any hidden content can be viewed by the member that thanked the original poster, will also show on the poster's profile to mean that this poster is a serious member of the forum or a faithful member of the forum and will add onto the reputation and ranking system that each forum may have in place.
I would like to see this available for the following reasons:
- Less posting for members to get hidden content;
- Less work for administrators when cleaning out threads;
- Easy and convenient way for members to show appreciation;
- Easy and convenient way for admins/mods to be thanked by members.
Also, by having a "thank you button" to click on so that any hidden content can be viewed by the member that thanked the original poster, will also show on the poster's profile to mean that this poster is a serious member of the forum or a faithful member of the forum and will add onto the reputation and ranking system that each forum may have in place.

Re: Thank you button to show hidden content
Sorry, my vote is no. I would want members to post to see hidden content because it exactly helps the forum with activity.

My vote is also no,
You could simply used the "hide" tags to achieve almost the same effect.

Thanks for your comments. Can you also vote as well please so that admins know at the end of the day what the majority will be. I've also included a third option for voting which is that the current hidden tag process is sufficient and I gather that this is what you all have indicated.
Cheers
