Problems with coding Empty Problems with coding

Post by Bullocks August 8th 2013, 3:49 pm

Alright so recently we had this new posting box placed on our sites which some do like & some don't. I'll admit I'm not a fan but I stuck with it because I figured I could learn and get round it and I did. But since this new posting box has been put in place more and more issues have just continued to crop up.

From an entire post vanishing to adding in extra spaces where none where before, the coding breaking & now all of the coding falling to pieces entirely meaning allot of people will need to re-do their templates and sheets to avert these problems. I'm sorry to say this forumotion but ever since the new posting box there has been nothing but problems for most of the sites I have been on and it hasn't made anything easier and if anything has only made things much much harder for allot of the users including myself.

Please really try and fix these issues as quickly as possible or give us back the old posting box if at all possible because this new one only seems to bring more and more problems with it and I'm having to explain to allot of my users that there is nothing I can do because there is always something happening to fix another problem which is only creating more problems.

Problems with coding Empty Re: Problems with coding

We have nothing to do about it, they already implement the new editor, they remove the old one so they can't bring it back or add options for choosing which editor will the forum like.

They are fixing this new editor with all they can. The editor is improving anyway, so lets just be patient. Very Happy

I know they're trying to fix the new editor up and I appreciate that. I'm trying to be patient its growing quite frustrating with allot of the problems that keep cropping up that means we have to change various sheets just so the coding isn't broken & stuff is understandable. As well as having to learn what does and doesn't work since allot of the coding has changed now and we can hardly stop and wait however long it takes for them to fix it and then resume.

Well, i myself encounter some problems too regarding the new editor, i'm just editing the part that goes wrong when i publish the post, because i can't do something, 1.) i'm not the one who handle the problems with the editor; 2.) i'm just a forum owner under the free forumotion hosting; 3.) i understand that the editor is under beta yet, so patient is a must.
