URL Link Not Displaying correctly

Im having a problem with a link not showing correctly and therefore directing traffic to the place. I have set up the forum for an online game alliance and we are trying to publish a link to our Friend Request Invites. I type this into the text editor :

www.disruptorbeam.com/play/friend_request/1529035/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Friend Request Invite and it shows as,


[url=http://gota-<a href%3D/]www.disruptorbeam.com/play/friend_request/1529035/"[/url] target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Friend Request Invite


when i need it to show as : gota-www.disruptorbeam.com/play/friend_request/1529035/ for it to link correctly.
What do i need to change to make this work

I need it to show the gota- before www as the site has a number of games and that differentiates which game it is your trying to link to.

Cpould you have another look to see if there is a solution please.

Make sure HTML is completely enabled, both through the Admin Panel and the users' preferences. Also, make sure that you have the following button clicked on at all times or else the HTML or BBcode will cause it to come out different.

This is the button I am talking about. It's on the quick reply and when creating a topic.



Also, please note that HTML doesn't work here at the English Support Forum. Thank you.

I have done all that you suggested and im getting the same results. So I tried with a different player link to see if the other link was incorrect. Following pic shows post :

To make sure that the link was working correctly I tried it as a post on my facebook page to make sure link works, see pic :

which is the correct destination for the link, so the link is correct.

Could you please have a look at my forum and see if you can find a solution. Thanks.

You cannot place gota before the URL. The URL has to be like this.

Im sorry you have it incorrect what im trying to do. the gota represents Game Of Thrones Ascent and as you can see from my screenshots that it is part of the web address.
I dont know if anybody from support has been into my forum but between 0:25am & 1:40am 9th August but for that time period the text placed in the line (see screenshot 1) was showing correctly as Friend Request Invite and when you clicked the link it actually took you to (screenshot 4) which is the correct destination for link.
I didnt change anything in the admin panel since i sent previous support request at 7:07pm 9th august to make it work and i was in process of typing instructions to add the links when it reverted back to not working properly. Could someone please go into my forum and see if they can find a solution. If you test the link you made it takes you to a Status: 404 Page Not Found Error instead of the destination in screenshot 4 above.

Check to see if HTML is activated for the whole forum and is activated in your profile.

@SL Gray.  Yes i have checked to see if html is activated for whole forum and yes it is for my profile as well, just as Sir Chivas told me in his 2nd post. Could you please go into my forum http://twwca-gota.forumotion.com and see if you can find a solution.
