Delete the log-out confirm page
Hello,
When I logout on my forum I have to confirm that I want to Log off.
Is there a way to delete this page, so that you are redirected to the portal or the index without confirmation?
Regards,
VJ.

Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
Are you referring to when you log off from the administration panel or using the toolbar, because if you use the log off navigation button you should not see the conformation page?

Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
SLG VJ could be talking about logging off from the toolbar.

Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
when i logout with the navigation button and the toolbar button i get a confirmation page with the text. are you sure you want tou logout. then i can click on yes or no.
Its very strange because an other forum of mine has no confirmation page. Maybe it depends on the forumversion you choose?

Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
It sounds like you have a code, because you should not have to confirm when you press the log off button in the navigation menu.

Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
Like SLGray says it could be linked to a code you've added.VJ. wrote:when i logout with the navigation button and the toolbar button i get a confirmation page with the text. are you sure you want tou logout. then i can click on yes or no.

Have you added any codes recently? If so, you should perhaps look through them by removing them individually and then testing the log out via the navigation bar and then re-add them once you've confirmed that code isn't causing the problem.

Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
There are no javascript codes and the forum has the confirmation page since I started the forum (without modified template or CSS), so that can't be the problem.
Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
Well since your forum is PHPBB2 its likely that is something in your template editing. I don't know much about PHPBB2 so I can't exactly help but that would be my most logical guess.

Re: Delete the log-out confirm page
Have you modified your templates? You can turn off the modifies without deleting them with the feature above the templates and check to see if the confirmation page disappears. The feature just forces the forum to use the default templates.
