In progress Reset Forum question

Post by Hardiex on August 18th 2013, 11:23 pm

Hello,

I made couple years ago a RPG forum for friends and new people to have fun on, since i got
inactive, the forum died. Now, I've got time again and would like to restore the forum with a fresh start.
So i was thinking about deleting all topics, all posts, all users, all settings, all themes and reset the forum to the beginning.
Something like a complete reset of my forum. Of course i want to keep the Url and the name, so i checked out some topics
oh how to backup it to earlier but the dates of backup are just not good. So I would like to ask you, if its possible to "reset" the forum
to when you opened it?

Thanks for reading,
yours sincerely

Are you using the Forum Utilities to restore the forum - http://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/ ?

Yes, i logged in and selected 'Restore the forum such as it was previously was' full backup but when I select the dates and its all from just few months ago, and i need a backup to start of forum, which was years ago when i started the RPG forum. So is there another way to reset forum to the beginning without having to delete it or start a new one cause i want to keep the URL and name.

Thanks for answering so fast,
appreciate it,

Only the dates listed is how far back you can restore your forum.
