I can't Renew My Personalized Domain

I've been ForumotionER five years now (2008-2013) with a forum designed for English language teachers, and I was offered a personalized domain by Forumotion Board some two years ago.
The problem is that I couldn't join my forum due to some technical problems in the are where I live . Being the only administrator of the forum, I connected somehow late and couldn't renew the domain on time. Now I'm asked to renew it for 1600 credits though the forum has been active since its creation. What can I do? ANy administrator's favourable help?

Forumotion only offers a free domain name to forums that meet certain requirements.  Your forum must not meet those requirements for a free domain name.

How that? and how comes that I was offered a free domain for long (two successive years) ? and above all I was re-offered to renew it but I connected too late to achieve that on time.

Well, if my forum didn't meet those requirements, I wouldn't be asked to renew it for free. The problem is that I connected 12 hours later after the deadline. Please, do help me to solve this problem.

Dear SLGray,
I saw the offer a month before the expiry date. I just wanted to renew the last three days from expiry to gain some days in renewal. That is, instead of renewing on the last remaining 15 days (which means losing 15 other days from the offered period of the new domain) I planned to do it the last three days. Thus, have the opportunity to benefit from other FREE 365 days. Unfortunately, fate was sharper and speedier !

Anyway! Thank you for your reaction and comprehension. Please, do close this topic as I don't want to re-open this discussion again. Everything is lost now though I begged you many times to find me a solution. The forum was created in 2008 and served many teachers of English (ELT and ESL) and students for FREE and spread knowledge for the needy. The reward was a kick off. Thank you Forumotion. If it was a month ago then your forum activity must have changed enough that the free offer was removed.
