Solved Collapse button not working

Post by Signal Warden on September 12th 2013, 10:21 pm

Hey,
  I used the collapse tutorial in my forum (Command Center Gaming) and it is having no effect. The tutorial I used was found here: http://help.forumotion.com/t102749-category-toggle

There is no visible collapse button. The board is phpBB3. The javascript module is set for the homepage and it is enabled. The CSS was added to the bottom with no changes.

Now why did you add this line?
Code:
[color=#2e8b57][font=Courier, CourierNew, sans-serif][/font][/color]
The reason i ask is because that a Bbcode and It can't be used in CSS
So you can try this one
Code:
.expand, .contract
{
position: absolute;
top: 6px;
right: 10px;
cursor: pointer;
width: 9px;
 height: 9px;
 color:#2e8b57;
 font-family: Courier, CourierNew, sans-serif;
 background: url(http://illiweb.com/fa/m/tabs_more1.gif);
}
.contract
{
   background: url(http://illiweb.com/fa/m/tabs_less1.gif);
}
To change the font in css you would use
Code:
font-family:    Fonts here! ;
and to change the color of text you would use
Code:
color:#hexcode;

The css you put up is simply a non condensed version. I tried that already as well. As for the BBCode, as I said, this came from the tutorial on here and having no idea what the back end looks like I kept it in to stay on the safe side.

I removed it and there was no change.

I used the extended CSS that you put there and there was also no change. I'm wondering if the Javascript module is where the problem lies.

Add the code to the top of your CSS stylesheet.
