Completed Edit Navbar Buttons

Post by Dranzer151 on October 19th 2013, 4:56 pm

Good day,
I would appreciate some help with my forum.
I would like the navbar to contain the following items:
Home | Events | FAQ | Database | Members | Sections | Profile

First I tried to rename the existing once with a JavaScript I found here in the help section. The problem then was that the navbar flickered everytime I changed page.
Secondly I created new buttons using the default tools. Then it looked pretty well but the first menu buttons were still there (memberlist, usergroups, calendar). So I changed the permission to administrator for these, then they disappeared from the navbar for everyone else than the admin.
Though, the problem still be that then people can't access these pages.

I got no idea how to customize the navbar further. Would be good if I just could rename the existing ones.

Thank you in advance //
Johan

When you created the new buttons, did you add the links, too?

Post a screenshot of one (page in administration panel) that you created?
