As admin I cannot login into my own forum

Hi

I created my new forum yesterday. I am the admin and I shared the admin pasword with few of my friends. My primary email is registered but I am not able to log in as admin as someone changed the password. It has been hacked. When I try to reset my password this is all I getÃ‚Â

The security 'Disallow admin to send new password' is active in Admin Panel > General Admin > Security

Is there anyway I can retrieve my forum from hackers. Please help me. I had to create a new id to post this. I will giveout my forum address if the mods me to PM.

Hello pakische,

Use this to disable 'Disallow admin to send new password' or retrieve a new password for your founder account.

https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/

You have to login with either your forum address or Founder email, and Founder password. (Password used in forum creation)

I forgot the password to register at the forum .. Just remember the registration email. I hope you help me with this.
And When I try to reset my password this is all I get

Could it be that one of your friends changed it?

For security reasons, I would not share the founder account information with anyone, except for Forumotion.

I have the same problem as well in a sense, and I need to disable that option "Disallow admin to send new password" =S

Newbie to forum admin so patience please! - yesterday stupidly rushed setting up forum without remembering password - and username - so when tried to access to day could not get access as password reset requires username ! Registered again as a different user to access the support forum. As advised by post elsewhere on forum I tried to send a PM to forum support team but got message that I had not reached the threshold of posts for sending PMs! Help please. PS I do have the original e-mail acknowledging forum set up.

You need two posts to send a pm.

Said I was a newbie - I didn't read the original e-mail properly - Username is Admin so was able to change pw easily - duhhh! As admin I cannot login into my own forum Icon_redface
