non, that will only change the allowed dimensions for uploaded images. If you want to resize avatars automatically we will need your forum version, or link to your forum.

Since you're using phpbb 3, use this

Just edit the width and height of what you want and done

Edit:
I just noticed the code didn't work, here's the new one
Code:
.postprofile img { width:150px;height:150px; }

Hello,

You can try this:

Code:
.poster-profile img{
  height: 100px!important;
  width: 100px!important;
}
You can change 100px in more and smaller. Paste that code in CSS (administration panel -> Display -> colors -> CSS Stylesheet)

You guys should consider using the max-height and max-width properties for limitation resizing.

Using just width/height would cause images smaller than 100 or 150 to be expanded to those dimensions. With max you're only able to resize images which go past the dimensions of your set values.

It should be:
Code:
max-height:100px;
max-width:100px;

Thanks Seth, I know that, but I'm forgot put max.

So try this code:
Code:
.poster-profile img{
  max-height: 100px!important;
  max-width: 100px!important;
}
