Solved Need code for "latest topics" scroll.

Post by Castellana on November 8th 2013, 4:46 pm

Hello! Hello

On my portal page the list of latest topics takes up the main center panel:
http://cvas.forumotion.com/portal

If I move it to the left column, which I can easily do, is there a way for it to scroll?  Just a regular up and down scroll, like I see on other forums.
Forum version is phpBB2.

Thanks!

Thanks! I had no idea that was even there. Wink

So now my topics are scrolling but after the last topic there is a gap. How to close the gap somewhat? I tried changing Height, Time Delay, and Scrolling progression but these did not shorten the gap.
Can you help?

That gap is the last topic in the list of topics to scroll depending on how many you have it set to scroll, the last one scrolls all the way to the top before the list starts again. This is normal behavior of the scroller, and I do not think there is any way to change that. By doing that it lets the viewer know when the list ends and that they have seen all of them, if it were continuous you might not know right away when it was repeating.

Thanks for explaining that! Very Happy
Now that it's been running a while, the gap doesn't seem so long.

This is SOLVED.
