Solved How to reset all users activity and reputation?

Post by ZX on November 18th 2013, 8:06 am

I'm bringing back my old forum after a long period of hiatus (over a year).

I want a fresh slate, the only problem is, the 1200 users of my forum have various reputation and point values. I need to set ALL of them back to zero, but I have no clue how.

Can anyone help? Is it possible?

Try go in administration panel -> General -> Forum -> Configuration

Resynchronize your forum

tag yes, and save, maybe it can help, but I'm not shure. Also you can try to go in Administration panel -> Modules -> Points and reputations

And you can edit members points in points donation, but for reputation I'm not shure, you can try turn reputation off, or delete it and then again on...

No it won't delete posts.

I know you can manually reset points. However to my knowledge you can't reset reputation.

Disabling and enabling it won't do anything I'm afraid.

You can delete all posts, easyer is delete forums and open new, points can manually, reputation I think you can only turn off, or you can try admin panel -> General -> Forum -> Configuration
Resincronise a member.

That, I think will make member posts and reputation on 0, but I'm not shure, and you need do it to all members, and if you have a lot of members it will take you a long time...

All you can sent e-mail or something to register again, and delete they account. But you can wait someone from staff to answer you, I beleve there must be some other way.

What you want to say?
You can't change user posts, not edit that if you think that.

Really the only way to achieve this would be to delete all the accounts and have members re-register.

Well damn. I guess I'll just have to ignore it then.
Thanks anyways though.
