People can't register or post external links
I'm getting new members and losing them quickly. They can send me a private message but they can't get registered. they're not getting the email confirmation. One member put a number with his username and that did the trick for him but not everyone is going to register their username with a number. I got a private message saying cancel my account because they didn't see the use to join if they couldn't post. I'm getting a TON of complaints about this. It took weeks before a new member could post an external link. It's a new board and is off to a terrible start.I need help now or it's not going to get off the ground. It could take off very well if it just worked right. How can that happen if they can't even register.

Re: People can't register or post external links
Hello gowest2016,
You can try doing the following:
Administration Panel > General > Forum > Security
Find these options:
'Unauthorize members with less than a week registration to post external links and emails' tick 'no'
'Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames' tick 'no'
Then save.
If they still cannot register check the following:
Administration Panel > Users & Groups > Users > Inactive users
Activate any accounts which have not been activated.
If the problem persists you can change how accounts are activated under:
Users > User options
Find 'New accounts activation' tick 'no activation' and save.
Please remember that disabling some of these options may cause spam bots to register on your forum.

Hello
You can go in administration panel -> General -> Forum -> Security and you can allow members to post links.
Can you explain better problem for registration?
