Add this to your user rank:
Code:
<span class="st-rang">RANK TITLE HERE</span>

Add this to your CSS:
Code:
.post.online.st-answer {
background: url("http://i48.servimg.com/u/f48/17/48/49/15/photo10.png") repeat-y scroll left top, url("http://illiweb.com/fa/prosilver/icon_user_online_en.png") no-repeat scroll right top #E5F1F9;
}
.post.st-answer {
background: url("http://i48.servimg.com/u/f48/17/48/49/15/photo10.png") repeat-y scroll left top #E5F1F9;[
}

Add this to your Javascript: (In the Topics)
Code:
$(function() {
$('.st-rang').closest('.post').addClass('st-answer');
});

Then click save and you should be set!

Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Ranks
Create the rank or edit the ones that you want to have the background. Add this to the rank title:
Code:
<span class="st-rang">RANK TITLE HERE</span>

Administration Panel > Modules > HTML/JavaScript > JavaScript Management
Create a new JavaScript and check the box for in posts ans add this code:
Code:
$(function() {
$('.st-rang').closest('.post').addClass('st-answer');
});

Administration Panel > Display > Colors & Pictures > Colors
CSS StylesheetCode:
Code:
.post.online.st-answer {
background: url("GRADIENT
 IMAGE LINK GOES HERE") repeat-y scroll left top,
url("http://illiweb.com/fa/prosilver/icon_user_online_en.png") no-repeat
 scroll right top #E5F1F9;
}
.post.st-answer {
background: url("GRADIENT IMAGE LINK GOES HERE") repeat-y scroll left top #E5F1F9;
}

Forumotion won't give out their gradient image that they are using, you can however get some other ones from this link below.

Just use the first code provided and change where it says "RANK TITLE HERE" to whatever rank you want it to say. you can do this for as many ranks as you want.
