Transparency!?
So, I was updating the forums affiliations and when I finished I saved then went back to the main forum page. I then scrolled down and saw that the whole bottom of the forum had become transparent. I was not even in the appearance or design section of the forum and I have used the affiliates section before..So, why the forum suddenly went transparent has confused me completely. It never used to be transparent, it used to be black..
Please help. I'd like to restore the forum back to the black appearance, not this weird transparent background.
Here's an image of the forum previously (sorry, the previous images are part of a "help guide" - just ignore the circles):

Re: Transparency!?
It may be because you changed the background image of your website. If you were to remove the background image and just let it be pure black, it wouldn't show as transparent any more.

Re: Transparency!?
Now look what I've discovered is also happening:
http://prntscr.com/2bimhl
The affilates have never done that before. D:
The forum background image has never been pure black, it has always had a scenic image in the background.
EDIT;
The forum has suddenly become.. Non-transparent? But, the image above with the affiliates is still occurring?
This can't possibly be on my end because it's happening without me doing anything. ?

Re: Transparency!?
Everything looks fine to me, perhaps before you had an unclosed tag in the affiliates which caused said error. Do you have any co-admins ? That could explain why it was fixed.

Re: Transparency!?
It looks fine on the home page and in certain threads.
But, in short or smaller threads which contain less topics, it plays up and sort of goes across the screen. It also happens when you post a reply (I experienced it about 2 minutes ago)
http://prntscr.com/2biqe6
Yes, there are co-admins, but, they haven't been online while I have.
I'll try re-syncing it.
EDIT:
I synced it, but.. It's still having issues. Here's a screenshot of a thread I was in, a smaller thread. It's like the affiliations is too long for the rest of the forum? I've never had this issue before.

Re: Transparency!?
Make sure the entire affiliates widget content is wrapped with a div tag, that should prevent anything like that happening.

Of course. Here you go. It's rather long, so, here it is in two pieces.

Re: Transparency!?
Looking over the images I did not really see an error unless I missed it. Have you tried setting 'use a table type' to 'yes' to see if that happens ?
Re: Transparency!?
It seems that the affiliates only "spread" out across the bottom of the screen in certain sections of the forum where there are little threads. Almost like the forum suddenly becomes too short for the affiliates? We have honestly never had this problem before. I have no idea what has happened.
I tried the table-type to "yes" but... I don't like how it looked, it messed up the forum further: http://prntscr.com/2bpuvu
Andd.. The static affiliates kept in their same position in the smaller threads.
Has anyone else ever had this issue?
It happened when extra coding was added to the affiliation section. Is there perhaps a maximum of affiliates? I assumed the code could have been buggy as when I tried tried the new code I added, it didn't seem to work correctly, although it looked like it should have worked correctly.
I'm going to try removing recent parts of the code and then I'll see if it clears up.

If you're still having problems you can post the code here using the code tags and I'll look over it directly.

Re: Transparency!?
I removed the previous codes and modifications which were made which seemed as though they "triggered" this sudden "spread" of affiliates and it didn't work.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It's annoying me and it just looks really terrible. Any ideas or suggestions?
I'm actually not sure on my forum verizon type.. Phpbb3? I'm not sure at all, to be honest. Unsure if that matters or not?
Here's the whole affiliate code:
Here's the sister site code for affiliation which is basically what I modeled the above one off.. It's weird because that one isn't playing up? I think the sister site code may be slightly altered, actually. Here it is anyway:
Do you think that perhaps if I try adding something onto the bottom that it may work? I tried something like this before, but, it was basically just a blank table and it didn't work. I'll give it a shot, anyway, try an add an image underneath the affiliates and we'll see if that starts appearing across the bottom of the forum or.. What.

Re: Transparency!?
I tested your widget now and did not encounter this. I do believe the problem is not the affiliates widget, but a custom widget above it. Review your widgets above the affiliates for any errors.
Re: Transparency!?
Okay, so, I just went through them and they seem fine to me. However, I'm not the best at using code. I decided to just space one out, so.. Here's the adminstrative staff team widget code:
Basically I spaced it out more.. I didn't remove or alter any of the actual code. But, I think it's fixed!! :3 Thank you!

Re: Transparency!?
You're welcome,
I have checked your right column and it appears to be spanning the correct area now. Before it did not contain the affiliates widget which I forgot to mention.
This is solved now ?
