Slow forum
Recently I experienced a lot of traffic on my forum since it's a weather forum and we just had a snowstorm. I noticed when there were a lot of users logged in and browsing, the forum got really laggy. Is there a way to prevent this? ThanksÂ

Is this also happening for other members?

Yes, especially in the chat box. There were about a hundred of us the other night and some people's posts were not going through. There were also some cases of members telling me they couldn't post for a couple minutes in the forum due to flood control?
Re: Slow forum
Ok, first did you try what I suggested above?
The flood control is a different thing, it's not suppose to cause lag on the forum, but to delay the posts being posted on the forums.

Re: Slow forum
The issue with the chatbox is a known issue. When there are many members using it, it causes some glitches in the chatbox. There is no known solutions.
