Post by UltimateShinobi January 5th 2014, 12:58 am

Currently having an issue with my forum where posts that include [list]'s and [url]'s are having them removed when attempting to edit or quote said posts. A post may include a list of usernames with each name including a hyperlink to their account and when I go into the post to edit it, the list, along with the urls, are all gone and is instead a paragraph of text. At first I thought it was simply a problem with my own posts, however I found that it affected topics and posts on a random basis. Some posts functioned correctly while others didn't. This issue is currently preventing me from maintaining up-to-date information on my forum and I would greatly appreciate any support posted in here. Thank you in advance.

Were these posts created before the new updates by Forumotion?

Apologies on the late reply. I actually questioned myself as to whether it was because of the update by Forumotion, however I've found that it affects both posts made before and after the updates, which simply confused me further. I've also found that since after the update, my posts lose their [font] tags if I preview or edit a post with it involved. That said, I'm able to clarify that that's something to do with the update rather than some other issue. Thanks for reply and any further replies.

Well, any old post will be messed up by the new updates. You will have to just redo them when you edit them.

It's not just old posts, it's happening with any post. Clearly a bigger issue then just being messed up with the update (which in all honesty seems like a massive oversight to make such a big inconvenience for all the forum owners).
