Re: These Hackers are serious
Hello,
First I would like to invite you to read this thread:
https://help.forumotion.com/t11392-forumotion-maximum-security-for-your-forums
Hacking would only be possible if those persons are able to crack your password or any other password of your staff members/members. Also, I would suggest you to avoid clicking suspicious links that may be sent to you or to your other members that may get some security information(such as IP address, login ID etc.) that may be used to crack your password, advice this to your staff members & members as well.
We also advice you to keep banning these members, have more moderators to guard the forum and advice them to have a password that's hard to guess(having characters, numbers, symbols, upper & lower case letters combined).
In case a hacking happens, you can restore your forum back to a certain date via the utilities:
https://www.forumotion.com/en/utils/
You can also check the link on my signature that says 'Forum hacked', 'Forum security' and 'Habits to be avoided' for more guidelines.
