Is your forum's version - Invision? If it is, Invision does not have template editing.

Template Editing: punBB and phpBB 2

Administration Panel > Display
There should be a line that says forum version.

Hello,

You can search on hitskin.com, when searching for skins there, you can filter as to what version would you like to choose from. Wink

I don't believe that the templates you directed me to are what I am looking for

the templates that I want are a copy and paste deal where you add links to different images to complete the template as in the first message I posted above
thanks

I believe there are some miss communications.

Are you just looking for how to add images such as Topic, New Topic, and Locked? If so then that can be found at:

"Admin Control Pannel (ACP) -> Display -> Pics Management -> Advanced Mode."
(Or basic mode if you would like. I actually find advanced simpler though)

Then all you have to do is simply fill in the spaces with the URL of the image you want for that.

However if you are talking about something completely different could you possibly try explaining it again in a different way? I am afraid I am finding it a tad difficult to understand what your asking.

Hi,

Before any changes, do not forget to change the version of your forum via Admin Panel: ACP >> Display >> Skins >> Choose a theme >> Version (TAB)

Hi,

What is it specifically that you would like to recreate?
Forum types PHPBB2 & PunBB both have Templates enables, where & PHPBB3 & Invision both do NOT have templates enabled however, if you know the right codes, you CAN tap into the Templates

Everything in this page is done through regular activities and not coding, with the exception of the 'Advertisement' part.

Solved Re: template for head post

Post by LilaP on January 22nd 2014, 2:42 am

I am posting the link once again for what I want done in my group. these are copy and paste for the lead post in a topic. hope this is clear enough for you to understand. I know these borders can be used in forumotion cause I am in a group that uses these exact same borders and I was in another group in forumotion which I am no longer a part of, but they had these same borders. I cannot give you the link to the groups due to them being closed groups and you would not see anything. I can however give you a link to one of the groups portal... click here
they can change the colored border that is place in the code of the template. (the colored border which is in pink all around the template at the link, or they can add an image, be it colored, flowered and so on)

the link below shows you the complete border that I am wanting to use in my group
thanks
