Head admin gone

Anyways, about a month ago the head admin f'd up his account because he threw a fit. He's gone and his e-mail account to "fix" the issue is gone to, at least according to him, whom we can only reach via text message.

I assume you'll suggest we move domains, but I think we have the rights to the domain (Two users who weren't him paid for it) and I've been running the site since the inception anyway. 

Is there anyway we could have the site's founder moved to a new user? Or at least an over-ride of the current admins account so we can do a work around ourselves? Our domain is coming up in the summer and we'd really like to avoid moving domains. 

I am registered "Ian" on the site and every other admin other than DramaQueen32, the founder, can vouch for this being the truth.

Sadly you can't only the founder could.

You can only make a claim to the founder account if the founder has been gone 6 months and one day. You can tell the founder via text that if he comes here he can get his email and password account back.

Can you tell how long he's been gone?

Because we won't have an issue until our domain comes up sometime this summer. I think at least five months from now, which would put us in the clear, right?

Unfortunately, the founder doesn't want to return in any capacity. So I don't think we could convince him to do that. 

If you can indeed tell me when I can make a claim for the founder, I'd appreciate it.

Well you can go to his profile then click on statistics and then view 'last visit' and that will tell you when he last visited. Then you can work out 6 months for then.

His last visit was December 5th, so we can make a claim on June 6th?

And our domain expires some time in August, I think, so that works, provided it's not a two month process to make a claim on the founder account.

The process is usually quite quick. You'll be able to make a claim in June 6 Do you have any other general admins that can keep the forum going?
