Solved 2 questions about structure and forums.

Post by medusa on January 22nd 2014, 8:36 am

Hallooo I hope that someone can help me ^^

I want my forum to be like this

How can I make my forums to appear like this with a picture side by side?

And the second question is, is there a way, when you click on the forum and comes to the forums page with either all the subforums or topics, to make a text in the top right under the navigation bar, so there can be a detailed description of the specific forum? ^^

Hello,

1. We have a similar concept but different appearance for that,(we don't have a tutorial for that yet), but here's a similar structure:

Thanks ! I think that it would help a lot! Smile

Then I still have the second main problem where I need a way to make a description box in the forums like this

My forum is newworld.danskforum.net (if anyone want to look but it is on Danish)
I have clicked on a forum the admin nyheder.
And I want a text to appear where the yellow circle are (the text would be individual for each forum) or just something like it

My reason is.
That I am running a RPG forum where the forums are the places like a town, a specific mountain or something like that.
And I want a short description of the place so people know how the place is ^^

Hope that anyone can help me Smile
And I of course hope there is a way of doing it ^^

OR rather is there a way of moving the description box of the forum to be displayed in the forum itself like on the picture?
I think that would probably be easier, so there won't be needing extra codes for making a new text field and such ^^

The last problem has been solved. ^^ I made a forum with an alias name and where I changed the text and added a picture so it didn't look like the other forums ^^ like here http://newworld.danskforum.net/f2-racer-pa-siden-beskrivelser-regler-evner-osv
